Adjustable Footrest
With a fully adjustable footrest, tightening or loosening straps to adjust length is a cinch. It provides maximum comfort for any paddler height (keep in mind the Coast XT height capacity is 6’6”).
Performance and storage
The Coast XT is a closed cockpit, performance kayak that can fit a spray skirt to keep out waves. Stow up to 180L of gear in the bow and stern storage compartments for serious expeditions and camping trips.
Zipper Channels
6 zipper channels slide onto the trim, closing and sealing the deck. They’re completely watertight and make assembly easier than ever.

On the water, the 16 foot Coast XT is swift and powerful. A kayak capable of serious performance, the Coast XT can handle ocean waves, calm lakes, and everything in between. It’s a closed cockpit, performance kayak that’s been tested on Class III rivers and played in 6 foot waves. Best for intermediate and advanced paddlers.
Our boats are lightweight but extraordinarily strong. They're created from 5 mm double-layered, custom-extruded polypropylene with a 10-year UV treatment. Translation? Oru Kayaks are incredibly puncture + abrasion resistant and built to last. With a super tough hull, they can withstand sliding over rocks, bumping into obstacles, and they are rated to 20,000 fold cycles.
