58688 Toyota LC 300 (CC-02)

Since the first generation model release of super SUVs, in 1951, the Toyota Land Cruiser has been one of the most famous 4WD vehicles in the world. This R/C model assembly kit builds the Land Cruiser 300 series which was announced in 2021.

The PC body realistically depicts the Land cruiser’s eye-catching form. Separate parts capture the distinctive large front grill with its horizontal fins and metal-plated sections. The light-case and door mirror components are metal-plated.

Door handles and the shark fin antenna on roof are rendered by separate parts for more realism. Silver color 12-spoke wheels are paired with block pattern tires.

The CC-02 is an off road chassis. Designed for a wide range of off-road scenes including rocky terrain, its ladder frame is inspired by full-size vehicles and is the base for its superior durability. A 4WD setup employs the motor longitudinally behind the front axle with separated gearbox and transfer case, and propeller shafts transmitting power to the differential gears front and rear.

Four-link rigid suspension is employed front and rear, with CVA oil dampers for all-encompassing control, even on tricky rock sections.
