GT 350 H (1/24)

Description

In 1964, an attractively designed coupé, specially developed for young drivers, was presented to the public at the World Exhibition in New York. This sporty and inexpensive Ford Mustang, the progenitor of the pony cars, was available from April 64 and in just six months Ford sold an unbelievable 680,000 units. In 1965, a high-performance street version of the Mustang, the GT 350, with a 4.7-liter V8 engine, built by Carroll Shelby, appeared. The car rental company Hertz ordered 1000 copies of the GT 350 H (H stands for Hertz) in black with golden decorative stripes, in order to be able to rent racing cars to customers who very quickly found the 306 PS strong, exceptional Mustang.
